Phones Denied at Young Achievers Awards 2018 Entrance, Causing Confusion

Imagine  a youth without their telephone. Without the ability to tweet or Facebook, or even share their current state. This is what happened during the beginning of the Young Achievers awards 2018, and left a lot of people stranded. Many were told to leave their gadgets in their cars, before entering.

A close source shared that this was due to suspicion that the big man, The president of Uganda would be part of the event. He however, did not, and delegated the Prime Minister,  Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda. The people were later let in with their phones, to enjoy the remaining parts of the night.

These particular awards are to rewards excellence and innovation in the country, from different sectors.
