Rumor has it: Rema might be pregnant

Despite the relationship issues Rema and Kenzo have been going through which prompted Remaining to compose the song “sili muyembe” to which Kenzo came out to confess that his relationship is not okay this comes as good news.

For this reason, Rema’s support and lovey dovey behavior with Kenzo on his just concluded concert caused suspicion amongst fans. Sharp eyed Ugandans looked at Rema’s bulging belly and are claiming she might be baking at least 2 buns in the oven. Rema is tight lipped on the matter.

On the other hand,  she might have just gained a few kilos over time but as we all know, pregnancy can’t be hidden and we will soon find out

Rema and Eddie Kenzo rekindle their faded love

The love drama between Kenzo and Remain has been going on for a while now with songs like “sili muyembe” that seemed like a message poking Kenzo about ignoring her.

He even came out to say that their family is broke and that he wouldn’t marry her even if both his and her families were putting pressure on him.

However when it came to Kenzo’s concert it seemed that all problems were swept under the rug as she was all singing love songs to Kenzo calling him her sweet baby daddy.

As it seems,  the two are on better terms now and the love is renewed. We wish them both all the best.

Rema Sets the record straight on “silimuyembe” Song

Although, many think Rema wrote the song, she has revealed that she bought the song from a one, Mugerwa.

“I don’t know what he was thinking, but he wrote me a great song,” says Rema.

She intends to shut down the claims that she sang it for Eddy Kenzo.

The video directed by Nolton-George clearly shows the message conveyed by the lyrics. The audio was produced by the legendary Paddyman.

New Music Alert: Whistle By Ykee Benda and Rema

Two young artistes Ykee Benda and Rema at the peak of their careers, Have brought out the best in Ugandan Music. With  Ykee  anticipating a World Cup performance alongside Jason Derulo and Rema having had a sold out VIP show in the land’s most premium venue, “Whistle” is exactly what is expected of the two.
The two sing alongside each other as they describe intense feelings of love with wild passion and abandon.

They literally whistle sweet nothings on how they mean so much to each other accompanied by the usual lover banter on how they miss each other on a daily. There is freshness of sound as D king infuses the consistent whistle of a flute that compliments the simultaneous slow heavy tempo and gives the song a distinct spontaneity.

The song’s chorus has the very flow Mayorkun uses on his single “Mama”. The song borrows the finesse of most West African songs and if Rema had not mentioned her name at the song’s start, I would never tell it’s her. She pays close attention to detail to the extent that you can tell when she rolls the “r” when she mentions the word “heart”. She blends so exceptionally with Ykee on this song and it’s most beautiful when they blend on the hook as they ask someone to get the a life jacket as they are drowning in each other’s love. These are beautiful lyrics one should look out for when they listen to this song.

Someone at Gagamel is going to choke on steam after disregarding Rema as a “mikolo” singer. On this one, she rather sends a silent message to a one Rasta man that she could still be a “Tiwa Savage” if she wanted to.

Rema Amazes at her sold out Serena Concert

Rema left critics shocked after her Serena concert was sold out leaving many of her fans stuck outside.

By 8pm, doors to Serena’s Victoria hall were closed while the masses of fans were informed that tickets were finished. Being a relatively “young” Artist in the industry, many doubted her ability to hold a maiden concert of her own.

Rema made it a point to say to her haters “i did it!” as soon as she stepped on stage. And she did not disappoint. She put up a spirited performance of all her hits including Banyabo, Lean on me, Oli wange and the much anticipated Linda with Chris Evans.

The VIP section was packed to capacity with high profile guests like Buganda’s Katikkiro Peter Mayiga, General Katumba Wamala and others.

Her attires were on point with various wardrobe changes throughout the night. She was flanked by fellow Artists, Kenzo, Ykee benda and Myko Ouma.

Needless to say, the concert was more than  a success.
