Uganda Selected on National Geographic List of 19 Places To headline 2019

We may have missed recognition on the lists of Top travel destinations. However, when it comes to nature and wildlife, we are on top of the game. National Geographic, in its traveller section, has released a list of 19 Cool places, that are set to headline 2019 Guess what. Ugandans is one of them.

The 16th on a list with Zimbabwe, Kwazulu-Natal, and others, the country was recognised for it’s preservation of Mountain Gorillas.

“The steady growth of its gorilla population is one of Africa’s great conservation success stories, with tourists playing an important role” the post read.

The pearl of Africa will always be the peral. Thank you to National Geographic for the recognition.

Fans Blast Zari For “Referring to Uganda as Museveni”

Independence day came with a lot of people wishing goodness for their country. Celebrities, royals, musicians, singers, and politicians. Many people took up their different styles to share the wonderful news. Zari the boss lady, took her special message on twitter, and posted an independence message to the country. The photo she posted was however for the president, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni. This sent twitter into explosion.

“So gwe Zari, you cannot even differentiate between Uganda and Museveni, and you’re a tourism ambassador?” one of the fans posted.

Many people in the country are currently very emotional when it comes to issues to do with politics. The need to know who supports who has grown over the years. What do you think?

Chinese Upgrade to Importing Sex. Ugandan Prostitutes need to pull up their socks.

At the moment, Chinese Businesses have taken over Uganda and the Asians Know just how to make money. With free trade between the two countries, Uganda may as well change its name to a Chinese alias. But if you thought every Asian you see around is an “investor”, think again.

Where Chinese prostitutes stage
Unlike our “local prostitutes” that operate on streets and bars, the “Shanghai beauties” mostly operate in casinos around town. For starters, forget the small time gambling joints frequented by broke youths, city casinos is where the rich go to load off some weight; of their cash!

To play to their advantage, Shanghai beauties usually reside in hotel rooms nearby such places. This makes them accessible whenever called for romantic investment. Also, their much cheaper Ugandan competitors dread such place which offers the Chinese a ‘’free-trade zone’’.

Our source revealed that unlike Ugandan prostitutes that use boda-bodas for movements, Shanghai beauties have cars.
“They drive cars that range between Shs20m to Shs60m. Also just like Ugandans, they move in groups of six to 10, dressed in micro-miniskirts and high heels,” the source revealed.

How business is done
The source revealed two techniques which the Shanghai beauties employ to get business done. Firstly, they use ‘pimps’ who are usually fellow nationals who have been in the country for a long time. The pimps connect them to loaded men and also part with their connection fee off the “romantic investment”.

However, the daredevil ones go bare knuckles. They lounge in the casino pulling off seductive gestures; a body language that any man worth his manhood can decipher!
Our source revealed that these street-smart groups feign to be clients before parading themselves as fertile land to the loaded gamesters for romantic, tax free business.
“They come in the casino as customers but on mission of spotting heavy gamesters. They play machines and other games as they lay traps for men who desire pleasure,” he explained.

However, if China’s international human trafficking record is anything to go by, it seems not all these women are voluntarily in the sex trade. The US State Department’s Trafficking in Persons Report for 2015 listed China on its “Tier 2 Watch List” for countries with significant or increasing human trafficking volumes.

With several Chinese nationals with money in the country, the traffickers know that these men will need female species and they lure the girls to Africa with promises of jobs like being waitresses and secretaries only to force them into sex trade on arrival.

Charges
According to our source, the charges for their services depend on one’s bargaining power just like the usual ladies-of-the-night trade. Our source revealed that for a “short” they charge $100 (about365,000) and for full night service, the charges double.
“For a short, they charge a minimum of $100 (Shs365,000) but for a night the prices double,” said our source before adding that; “Besides the language barriers, such charges are the reason why most Ugandans fall off.”

Five Irritating Things That Happen In a Ugandan salon

Sometimes women go to a salon to make their hair, and comeback angrier than before. If you do not know the cause of that, here are five irritating things that happen in a Ugandan salon.

Comments

When you walk into a salon, expect various comments about things. The quality and type of your hair, the previous person who plaited and how they did it wrong, etc. If you agree to do someone’s hair, it is respectful to keep the comments within, and not discuss them in their presence.

Drier

The drier is another place women usually do not like to visit. You never know how much heat has been put. Most people are forgotten in the dryer, as the hair stylist attends to another customer. Most women usually get out on their own.

Backbiting

Caution. If you visit a saloon, and the topic is a former customer, do not participate because you will be next. Every thing is discussed from neighbors, to competition, family life, you, and people’s dressing. You can totally know everything about everyone in your neighborhood, just by listening to a salon story.

Too many people

Have you ever had more than three people have a hand in your hairstyle? There is a lot of switching of hands, just in the attempt to make money from as many customers as possible. Tip: Concentrate one person until you produce the final product, which will leave you proud of the work of your hands.

Despite all this irritation, kudos to salon hairstylists. Kudos to the people who make us flawless. Thank you for making our ladies look wonderful.

Bees Attack Sub-Woofer Thief

Uganda may be one of the most beautiful places to live in, but it also has it’s own secrets. Photos have been circulating all over social media, of a Thief covered by Bees. He was shirtless, and held black sub woofers on his right hand. News coming in is that this incident occurred in Masindi town, where he apparently stole a Sub-Woofer from a resident of Kijura North cell, Masindi.

According to eye witnesses, and the photos circulating, the man was carrying the item he had stolen in one arm, and his back, neck, and some parts of his face were covered by bees.

Daily Monitor reports that the young man, shirtless, walked from Kisara North Cell in Masindi Town, heading towards the police station. His hunt was however in vain, as the police did not save him from the circumstances he was facing.

The thief then returned to Kijura, followed by a crowd of people and boda boda cyclists back to the place from which he got the item. He apparently returned the stolen items and confessed. Many people took videos and photos of the thief, as they laughed at him.

Many say that the man was be witched by the owner of the Sub-woofers. The swarm of bees could have been sent to attack the particular person that could have stolen the things. This is Uganda and you ought to be careful whose item you take. This is also not the first time a case about a bee attack has been reported in the country.

4. The water bodies Whether you are crossing with a ferry, or a boat, you will.be amazed by the beautiful waters that this country presents. Minus having the source of the longest river in the world, Uganda also has beautiful and amazing lakes.

5. The hotels Besides that this Country has a wide range of different foods, they also jave wonderfil.hotels that serve a variety of exotic dishes. They will definately give the tourists a wonderful visit.
