Reekado banks guest star for Ykee Benda’s concert

The wait is over! Ykee has finally revealed the guest star at his SINGA concert. Nigerian star Reekado Banks has confirmed his presence at singer Ykee Benda’s Singa concert.

Reekado Banks is the multi-talented voice behind hit songs under his belt such as Easy, Blessings On Me, Katapot among many others.

The two artists have a song together titled Timetable which was produced by Maleek Berry during Ykee Benda’s visit to Nigeria.

Timetable is an African pop song that complimented the two artists vocals and it is no surprise that they will be collaborating once again.

Ykee Benda ready to meet the love of his life

Wycliff Tugume, commonly known as Ykee Benda has revealed that he is ready to meet someone new now that he is single.

While appearing on NBS TV’s After 5 show hosted by MC Kats, the “Singa” star Ykee Benda revealed that he is a single man and ready to mingle.

A few years ago, he was in a public relationship and even proposed until it went sour and even with a lot of begging his girlfriend refused to take him back.

Ykee Benda is definitely riding his lucky star and its working for him. He has now released another song dedicated to his mother.

The song “maama wange” is a song to praise for his mother to expressed his love and appreciation for everything she has done for him. This song was released in time for women’s day making it even more special.

The song was written by Ykee Benda himself and produced by Dary Hits at Mpaka Records and the video will be dropping on his concert day.

The boy from Kireka Ykee Benda is ready to hold his maiden concert after almost three years in the music industry.

Ykee has managed to upgrade his guest list by getting a confirmation of attendance by the PrimeMinister of the Buganda Kingdom who bought a 3 million VIP table.

Buganda’s official twitter account confirmed this development.

Ykee benda ventures into dancehall with Kwiso Bando’  a song produced by Eno Beats.

What we can say is that he is slowly mastering the genre from his usual sensual RnB feel.

The video, directed by M Grate Pest is quite artistic and hilarious at the same time. The skirt and other designs were taken care of by Mavo Kampala.

This year has been so big for Ykee Benda including an honor to feature on the official Coca-Cola world cup song, perform in Russia and recently open his very own recording studio Mpaka records named after his father.

Salvador blasts Ykee benda and Apass for mocking Fik Fameica’s concert flop

Monday was bloody scene on the twitter verse with Artistes and their fans giving each other blows in places that hurt the most.

It all began when A Pass bragged about how he is too big for concerts and none of his can ever flop. This was a jab a Fik fameica’s poorly attended my journey concert on Friday 14th December that left him in tears.

When Ykee benda tried to defend Fik fameica,  the fans got involved and all went loose. Veteran comedian Salvador managed to shut down the whole mess by putting both of them in their place.

We have watched various music artists eat themselves up, over simple things in this country. Two of our new celebrities, APASS and Ykee Benda had a twitter scuffle over Fic Fameica, and the former has made a public apology.

It all started when Dim Fameica’s concert failed to make it to the ladder, and our singer had to make a comment about it. In defence, Ykee Benda invited an internet fight. This kept us wondering whether there was something deeper that these two are fighting for.

VIDEO: Ykee Benda releases new Hit “Singa” based on his love life

Ykee benda has taken this year by storm. From world cup privileges by featuring on the official song, and now opening his very own recording studio, he is not sleeping and we are prod of him.

His new love song titled Singa was produced by Nessim. It is a real life story about an Algerian girl Ykee met while still at University but could not marry because the girl’s father could not let his Algerian daughter marry a Ugandan.

Ykee Benda Shares Sad Story About his Love Life

If you are a Ykee Benda fun, than you know how much he roots for love. Whatever he does, is to show people the true meaning of love. The singer has shared with us the story behind his love stories, and about his first cut. Read below;

While at University I Met a girl (Algerian) we became best of friends….we shared almost everything apart from the physical….We fought on a daily about Islam vs Christianity…We did everything together…it was the very first time I fell for a woman without having the intentions when we first met…she changed my life…I have never seen a heart more pure…..we fell in love so deep a day apart I could barely accomplish anything…..I told her I wanted to marry her and bring her with me to Uganda …And she wanted nothing less but to spend the rest of her life with me…..As young as we were I asked for a sit down with the father….He agreed cause he had never seen his daughter that happy since she was born…..I gave my speech infront of him and the Daughter….He told me this could never happen and we should find it in our hearts to forget eachother…..I pleaded with him for over two hours making all kinds of promises And he told me he could never let his only daughter leave Algeria to marry a Ugandan…and I was left with afew months to come home….They blocked us from communicating or seeing eachother……I must say that was the toughest time of my life EVER…I came back home moved on slowly with the stories you all know of my love life…..But that was also the best love I have ever experienced….will I ever see her or a person like her?….only God knows ??

Now the way the story ends shows she died no…she’s alive and well and infact engaged as of right now….It’s the LOVE that was buried by the stereo-types of this world of certain people can’t be together…Moslems can’t marry Christians ….certain races shouldn’t mix,certain tribes cant intermarry….I saw it first hand and it’s absurd I must say….so on that grave…Ykee buried the Only TRUE LOVE HE HAD EVER SEEN❤️….

Just last week, we celebrated the Superman singer’s birthday as he added another year to his considerably successful life.

A few months ago Ykee Benda revealed that he will be moving from the Badi Music empire into his own records house.

Yesterday, Ykee Benda unveiled his newly setup recording house, Mpaka Records, from which he intends to work forthwith.

He also revealed that he will be recording and mastering his second music album from Mpaka Records which is named after his father Mpakanyi.

In the past, it has been really difficult to know what Ykee Benda has on his head. The singer is either caught wearing a cap or hooded. This week he came out on Social Media, to share photos of his new Mohawk, which he has been growing over the past few months

Superman is back to save the world. Love songs, soul hits and Romantic Lyrics are about to take over the world next year. Ykee Benda urely took the country by storm this year. Some of our favorite hits, like Byonkola, Onabaayo and Superman, are all by him.  The singer has even received a nomination for an Afrima Award as the Best New Comer. After the release of his “timetable” song with Reekado banks, he posted a picture of him with producer and singer Banky W.

The two seem to have enjoyed some quality time together as Ykee appreciates him for the advice given.

Ykee Benda’s Empire Clean up New Mulago Kiludu Hospital

Superman, Ykee benda is releasing his superpowers once again. This time, it is the ability to help and share with the community. We have come to learn that the crew, and a few members of his team, headed to part of Uganda’s biggest hospital, Mulago, to share some love.

His fans and followers have been trolling him after failing to perform at World Cup finals in Russia as it was earlier reported.

Musician Ykee Benda has now slapped haters with a monster video.

The self-proclaimed ‘Kireka boy’ has released “Onobaayo” audio and visuals.

The video was shot by Nigerian videographer, Sesan in South Africa at Shs 59 Million, and the audio was produced by Nessim Pan Production of Short gun Records.

A month ago,  he dropped another sizzling song,  “Amina”.

Fans Mock Ykee Benda for Not Performing at Russia World Cup 2018

Superman, Wycliffe Tugume, aka Ykee Benda is getting a lot from social media recently. Many fans are mocking him for not performing at the Russia World cup 2018.

In around March, we were all totally excited for this new Ugandan artiste. When the cup passed through the country, our news tabloids were graced with news that Ykee had been chosen to perform at the Closing ceremony of the recently finalized Russia World Cup. We even saw the star off as he traveled to Russia.

Since Sunday however, Social Media has gone crazy, with people making comments such as, “Now we are waiting for Ykee Benda’s Performance” Well, at least he got to watch the match live, as we sat next to our TV Sets.  Being the humble man that he is, this artist decided to take all of us along, as he waved the Ugandan flag high, in the middle of crowds.
