Weetabix Kenya Turns 40 in Style (Photo Gallery)

Weetabix recently celebrated its 40th year in Kenya after decades of fueling Kenyans by providing them with a healthy and nutritious breakfast which is a staple in 1 of every 5 urban Kenyan homes.

To commemorate this iconic achievement, Weetabix celebrated at a reception dinner at the Villa Rosa Kempinski. In attendance, was a special delegation of investors from Bright Foods Group led by their Chairman Yong Jie Lyu, Baring Private Equity- Asia and Weetabix Food Company CEO Giles Turell amongst other global company leadership luminaries. The delegation unveiled the company’s recent investment at the Nairobi Plant during a factory tour where they renewed their commitment to investing in Kenya.

 This ceremony also marked the formal unveiling of a £1.6 Million project aimed to modernize the Weetabix Plant which will in turn increase the production capacity by 60%.

 The dinner was also an opportunity for Weetabix to recognize and appreciate their key stakeholders, including government, agency partners, suppliers and retail partners.
