A Githurai Bound Bus Overturns At Muthaiga, Scores Injured.
Last evening a 52 seater Githurai bound bus overturned at Muthaiga when avoiding collision with a car that had stalled around the Kiambu exit.
Eye witnesses recount that the bus was over speeding at the time of the accident; the bus careened trying to avoid hitting a private car but lost control, hit a curb and overturned. Scores of people were injured on the 7p.m accident.
The Injured were taken to Guru Nanak hospital and others hospitals close by. Some were admitted while score others were discharged and went home after.
This accident comes in the wake of several other accidents involving Githurai matatu’s which begs the question? Are they driven well or are they just unfit for the road?
