And Now a Praise Chant for Gor Mahia… They & There Ruckus Are to be Awarded

In February 2015, wise and intelligent people came up with the idea of recognizing common citizen. The real people who do the tiring work day in day out only to contribute to the fattening of MPs wallets.

It began as a challenge, but is really growing. I find it a very good initiative to honor the people on the ground, rarely or rather, never are they honored.

So Hoodie Awards was born. It strives to celebrate the best of the ‘hood — the ordinary folk instead of A-list stars every day people finally get their time in the spotlight.

The awards will be recognizing the guys who have put their influential stamp on the city and who have made it become such an iconic place to be year on year. So think of Hotel, Bar, Online mall, blogs, esto’s…etc
