Be In The Know!Tribalism Is Now A Sin In Kenya!

As Kenya gears towards the elections, politicians are using every machinery they lay hands on,to tap in more numbers, that will hopefully vote them in positions of power, even if it means, trading on tribal divides, everything and anything that guarantees a win is a go-go.

Well, this time around, use of tribalism divide, might not work ladies and gents.

A group of young Kenyans is working round the clock to cut off this tribalism menace that usually pops up strategically when we near the polls.
YAD Africa as they call themselves is a youth organisation whose main intention and purpose is to address and reduce to finality discriminatory vices among them tribalism xenophobia, racism, Gender inequality and stereotypes in Kenya, Africa and beyond.

And Kenyan celebrities are all supporting the movement, talented singer Wyre the Lovechild,Comedian Oga Obinna, Owago Onyiro, Kush Tracey, among other top showbiz players are saying..TRIBALISM IS A SIN! and Kenyans should all support this campaign.

The YAD outfit is the brainchild of four young and self driven individuals,Eric One Wash who is a celebrated stylist and entrepreneur ,Conshizzy a lawyer and broadcaster ,Mc Teargas, artist, presenter and Mc, Dj Gazaking a leading Dj in the Kenyan show business.

The group sole goal is, primary raising awareness and address discrimination on the basis of race or ethnicity advocating for cohesiveness among our diverse groups in Kenya, Africa and partnering with all like minded parties, entities, individuals in championing this noble cause, and enable breaking down and addressing discriminatory traditions, policies , practices in Nations and institutions.

Currently they are running an initiative. Dubbed tribalism is A SIN with an aim of changing the mindset and altitudes of Kenyans and Africans toward other tribes, mainly targeting the youth with emphasis on putting national goals over tribal goals. Plus they will be visiting parts of the country seen as epicenters of violence fueled by tribal animosity.

All this is meant to foster a more tolerant and accepting Kenyan society and world, where diversity is celebrated and individuality is embraced based on merit, honesty and character.
