Despite the phone incident, this is the mind-blowing amount Chris Brown was paid to perform in Mombasa

For a while, A-list artistes refused to perform in the country choosing to go to South Africa instead. But Kenyans were pretty pleased when an A-list artiste decided to perform in the country.

Flanked by a regional artiste and local artistes, Chris Brown gave Kenyans a show they would never forget. But his concert didn’t come cheap as we have come to later learn.

Kenyans.co.ke reports that the promoters had to part with a whopping 90 Million Kshs for him to perform for 1 hour and 30 minutes!

The organisers however say that the amount Chris brown was paid was greatly exaggerated.

On of thehe organisers, Ms Thandi Ojeer of Wale Wasee said that  “No, I wish I had that kind of money” before refusing to disclose how much Chris was paid by saying “That’s confidential information; it’s like asking someone to reveal their bank balance.”
