‘Detain Them But Do This…’, Judge Gives Police Orders On How To Detain 3 Stephjoy Boys Suspected To Torch A Dormitory That Killed 2 Students

Three boys suspected to have set a dormitory on fire that killed 3 students in Stephjoy High School a week ago are set to remain in police custody for the next 10 days.

This comes after court allowed an application by investigators to detain them for the next 10 days to allow for comprehensive investigations into the allegations leveled against them.

However, the judge ordered that the three form two boys be detained with certain conditions. Among them were clean cubicles that are well furnished with mattresses and blankest.

Milimani Court judge Ngenye Macharia also ordered that no adult should be allowed to visit the boys unless they have permission from their parents.

This means that the three suspects will remain in police custody in Tigoni Police Station until the 21st of August when they will be presented to cort.

The judge ordered that thorough investigations be carried out to establish the cause of the fire that saw the school close indefinitely after three students died in the inferno.
