Diamond Spends Sunday Night In An Apartment In Nairobi After Getting Stranded At JKIA

He was booked at the opulent Tribe hotel when he touched down. But a mix-up in Diamond’s departure saw him spend Sunday night in an apartment in Nairobi.

Diamond was slated to leave Kenya on Sunday night after his show in Meru, but apparently the promoter had booked him a flight on Monday.

Nairobi News reports that Chibu Dangote only discovered his flight was on Monday and not Sunday night when he arrived at JKIA from Meru ready to board a plane out of Kenya.

The singer and his entourage were forced to go back to Tribe hotel to book a room to spend the night. But to their surprise, the posh hotel was fully booked.

The 35 heads of state and thousands of other delegates attending the sixth International Conference on African Development (TICAD VI) Summit, had booked all high-end hotels in the city.

Diamond and his boys were forced to do away with their VVIP status and scavenge for a ‘decent’ place to put their heads to rest.

Baba Tiffah settled for an apartment where he spent Sunday night with his team. The singer was slated to fly to Los Angeles, US where he was to shoot a video for his collabo with Ne-Yo.
