Emotions High As Pastor Ng’ang’a Limuru Accident Victim Is Buried (Photos+Video)

A somber mood descended upon a village in Limuru as politicians and residents gathered to give Mercy Njeri an emotional send-off.

Mercy Njeri was killed last week when a red range rover rammed into their car, a range rover believed to belong to Pastor James Nganga of Neno Evangelism Church, Nairobi, who was allegedly driving carelessly and on the wrong side of the road.

Witnesses at the scene of the accident claim it was Pastor Ng’ang’a who was driving the Range Rover at the time of the accident, and he was seen taking off in another car after killing Njeri and leaving her husband badly injured.

The pastor has since denied the allegations and threatened to sue whoever claiming he caused an accident.

And as Njeri was being laid to rest, emotional messages were sent to the authorities, with speakers blasting the pastor and the police for committing a crime and trying to walk away with it.

Kiambu Senator Kimani Wa Matangi called for justice for the victim and her family and wondered why police were trying to cover up for the pastor even when they are sure it was him who caused the accident.

Bahati MP Kimani wa Ngunjiri reiterated the same and wondered why police who are supposed to be true and fair were trying to shield pastor Ng’ang’a from blame.

Limuru MP John Kiragu questioned Police Commissioner Joseph Boinett on why he is not prosecuting the person who  owns the range rover yet it was discovered it has no insurance.

Family, relatives and friends could not hold back their tear as Njeri was being laid to rest.
