Finally Kenya Gets Its Own “Diamond Platnumz”

It’s without a doubt that Diamond Platnumz has his smooth Bongo game in the clutch. The young phenom is always being showered with praises, and admiration thanks to his soft sentimental songs.

But that is about to change because one of Kenya’s legendary producers, Tedd Josiah, has just discovered Diamond’s replacement from Kenya.

Meet Iddi Hemed. This guy is a stellar vocalist known for his smooth sounds.

Whether it’s a soulful story about real-life trouble or an ultra-romantic ballad, R&B’s silky smooth sound is a pop music staple and Iddi is the best when it comes to getting us in touch with our emotions.

He just released his first single, “Usijali” after being signed by Tedd Josiah’s Sandstone Studios.

“Usijali” is SWARNB. A new genre in the Kenyan music industry which is a fusion of a rich spicy blend of Swahili poetry fused with RnB.

Iddi is currently working on his album which is set to be released later this year.
