“I forgive you” Events Goat Big Ted tells former MP Rueben Ndolo as he reveals what exactly led to them almost coming to blows at Carnivore

Just in case you missed it, some of the most prestigious boxers were in the country over the weekend for the much anticipated Mac Series, a boxing event going down at Carnivore.

I’m talking about veteran Boxers from the USA, Michael Moore who was a three time World Champion WBO,WBA/IBF, Evander Holyfield, Winky Wright who is an American Professional Boxer and Tommy Hearns. And not only them but other professional boxers drawn from 11 African countries.

Midway within the event however, drama erupted when former Makadara MP and Kenya Boxing chairman was given a chance to speak.

He stepped up to the podium and took the opportunity to hail at Uhuru and how he had neglected boxing with his concentration only falling on rugby and athletics. That was right before he called Uhuru’s cousin to the same podium with a message to go and deliver to Uhuru personally something which angered the event MC Big Ted.

He allegedly stopped him midway and this brought them to near blows and it only took the intervention of the bouncers to stop them.

That has been the story so far….

The question is though, what exactly happened?

I just called Big Ted and according to him, Rueben had no right to say what he did. First of all sports is meant to unite people and not divide them and Rueben politicizing the event messed up with the whole agenda of the event.

Secondly, Uhuru is an institution not a person and true to that it should be respected. Calling Uhuru’s cousin just like that was total disrespect and there was no way he was going to let him continue making such utterances.

But that’s not what really angered Big Ted. The fact that he alluded to the fact that he and young guys working at State House were the ones misleading Uhuru was what really pissed him off and he was ready for everything and anything.

Surprisingly the two are actually good friends and he was shocked that he would do something like that.  

“I forgive him though as he’s a man and all men are prone to mistakes” He ended his statement.
