Funniest Letter Written To Obama Warning Him What He Will Meet When He Touches Down At JKIA On Friday

Obama’s much anticipated touch-down in Kenya is globally being talked of. Kenya is literally the King’s landing come this Friday, and so much has been happening in preparation to receive the most powerful man on earth who interestingly has his roots in Kenya.

From putting pressure on grass along major city highways to grow in three days in the name of beautifying the city to receive Obama to US war choppers roaming the Kenyan airspace, everything is just fascinating. Kenyans are being treated to one of the most exciting experiences of their lives.

But what has stunned many is a letter written to Obama ahead of his visit to Kenya. We have seen letters before. I mean letters like that from the University of Nairobi and Mt. Kenya University. But no letter has been as catchy as this one by one Kenyan journalist who chose to alert Obama in advance on what he expects to meet upon his arrival in Kenya.

The letter has been published by BBC.

Among the things the US President has been told he is expected to meet upon his arrival include screening for Ebola at the JKIA, a scary traffic jam along Mombasa Road and other major roads in the capital and of course how to beat the jam.

The letter goes on to tell Obama that he should not be deceived by what he will see along the major roads he will be using. The beautification is all but a lie, Nairobi has never looked like this before.

Briefly, there is the mention of Koinange street, security checks, Kenyan fake chicken and fries, et al.

HERE is the letter that has left the world fascinated considering it was published by BBC.
