Ghafla to Wangechi…Get Well Soon,Princess of Rap.

The Princess of Rap is in Hospital. In the ICU to be precise. Ghafla wishes to take this space to say a prayer. And to urge You to too.

I met Wangechi last Year. And one thing that impressed Me most about her is the fact that we had agreed to meet at Alliance Francaise at 2pm sharp. And she was there by 1.50pm. 10 Minutes earlier!  Yes,she is that professional. And punctual. That impressed Me. To date.

I proceeded to interview her lengthily, asked her to freestyle for Me and had a thoroughly festive afternoon with this magnificent talent.

And following day,I posted her story on My Facebook Timeline praising her generously.

So when I first heard of her accident and situation,I went numb. Like,Numb. I hit up her manager at night as I was traveling to Nairobi from Embu. And I couldn’t contain my shock and disbelief. He told Me that she had suffered a broken jaw, a broken left arm and was experiencing internal bleeding.

Yesterday,A Ghafla Photojournalist and I went to Nairobi Hospital. Hoping to get a better insight into Wangechi’s situation, drop a card and flowers and probably have a word with her medics.

It was confirmed to us that, indeed,a Young girl had been admitted to the I.C.U there on Sunday. And we were asked to go see a Mr. Tom Simba, the Marketing Manager at Nairobi Hospital, who would guide us best on what we needed.

We walked over to Mr. Simba’s office and had a lengthy chat with him. He had never heard of Wangechi. And wondered who exactly she was. And asked her what kind of Music she did. I told him. And even asked him to search her on Facebook which he did. And he started getting a clearer picture of why Wangechi was a Public Figure.

We wont publish what talks we had at Nairobi Hospital here. Or publish the photos for now until further notice. Or until her manager Kevin provoke gives us a proper headway.

We hereby wish to say a prayer….For Wangechi. And her Friend Tewa.

“Father God,Mighty and Awesome You are. All creation bows at Your feet. and every Nation worships Your Name. You Are. And always will be.

We seek Your face with humble hearts and repentant spirits, asking You to hear Us and answer Us.

The Bible calls You, The Great Physician. And surely,By Your stripes,We were HEALED. The Bible says.

Father God,We pray for Your child Wangechi as she lies in the hospital bed. May Your Arm stretch and touch her…May Your Omnipotent Arm cover her…Shield her,Lord. And deliver Her.

Let Your Mercy and kindness flow over her. Let Your All-Powerful wing cover her, as a Hen covereth it’s little chicks.

Descend Father, and attend to Her. Wipe away her pain and touch every fiber and thread of her frail body.

Patch up her broken bones,Dear Father. Sew together her disintegrated pieces. Release a flood of kindness and Love and healing.

Shower from above, Father God…

We ask you to touch her Body, Her Soul and Spirit…Give her another shot at life and launch her back to health and stability.

We rebuke Satan in the strongest words possible. And ask You, Dear Lord, to send a battalion of Healing Angels in Wangechi’s room. May she find wholeness in You, Health in You and Victory in You.

We say the same prayer to her friend Tewa too. May Your Love, Mercy and Kindness touch them both. Heal them and restore them.

Because The Bible says in the book of Isaiah 59:1 “Behold, the LORD’S hand is not so short That it cannot save; Nor is His ear so dull That it cannot hear..”

May You hear us,Oh Lord. And stretch Your Most Holy and Righteous Hand.

Father God we praise You and honor You.

And pray beliving and trusting In You. And trusting that You have heard Us. And always will.

In Jesus’ Name we pray,AMEN AND AMEN.

Ghafla urges You to say a prayer too.

And to put them in Your hearts…Now till they are whole again.

AMEN.
