Grief turns to hope! Youngest sister of Machachari’s actress Joy wakes up from 4 day comma after a Toyota RAV4 ran over her leaving her in a life threatening condition
The family of Rose and Donald Ohon is celebrating good news after their youngest daughter Zoe Ohon made incredible steps from a horrific accident that almost cost her life.
Zoe Love Ohon is also a two year old baby sister of the famous Machachari actress Joy. According David Ohon her daughter was involved in a fatal accident when a Toyota Rav 4 knocked her and then ran over her. She was left in bad shape with lungs collapsed and punctured.
They had to rely on AMREF services to get her to hospital where she was in a comma for 4 days. She has however since then made incredible recovery and is now even able to talk and from the photos she was beaming with her smile as she chatted with one of her sister.

This is the message from the father narrating a sad ordeal that turned inspiring and uplifting.
“I thank the Almighty God for how His protection and healing is upon my Daughter Zoe Love Ohon. I have seen God in a big way! All the glory to Him. For my 2 year old Daughter to be knocked down by a Toyota Rav 4, thrown and the same car running her over only takes the hand of God for her to be alive today! It is a big joy for me having seen her today evening singing and engaging with friends and family and yet just 4 days ago she was in the ICU and her left lung was punctured, collapsed and had been pushed way further to the right. The Doctors are even amazed at how fast she is recovering. While in a lot of pain two days ago, my Daughter Zoe Love told her Mum to pray for her. Its amazing how such a small child can recognise the power of prayer and Jesus Christ! Brethren, Jesus Christ is real & He is coming soon! Just make things right with Him! I appreciate all our Friends, Brethren & Family members for standing with us in prayers. May God bless you ALL big time! I also appreciate the Amref Flying Doctors and Nairobi Hospital Doctors & Team for the committment and support they have given us so far and not forgetting the Taxi Driver Bentot whom together we had to break the traffic rules on Langata road by driving the opposite side of the road so as to catch up with the Amref Ambulance. The Ohon’s are one of the celebrated families in Kenya in what is a star studded family. The father is a celebrated TV commercial actor fondly remembered as Musa Faulu, the wife is a popular gospel singer, Joy Maranatha the first born is the popular actor in award winning TV show Machachari while the other daughter Imani Hadassah was the cute lovely girl in Oreo commercial on TV. Their last daughter Zoe Love Ohon should easily follow in footsteps as she is as charming as her elder sisters.
