“HAWAJUI” is the Word on Everybody’s Mouth and this is Why #CokeStudioAfrica

A Nigerian and a Tanzanian, that is surely a spectacle to behold. I mean how often you see that happen. Kenyans mix well with Nigerians, look at it; how many Nigerians do you see here on a daily? How many Kenyan women do you see having been swept off their feet by these brothers from West Africa? But a Tanzanian and a Nigerian especially on a song, I’m still to fathom how Diamond and Davido pulled it off.

Okay enough with my useless banter, I’m talking about the collaboration between the gorgeous Vanessa Mdee and Burna boy on Coke Studio Africa season II over the weekend. For a person who draws a lot of inspiration from Lauryn Hill and another who’s all about dancehall, it was basically impossible to pull it off. They did it though and did it exceptionally well.
