Hit or Miss? Check Out Camp Mulla’s “Funky Town” Album

Without a doubt, Camp Mulla is the face of Kenyan urban music thus far. Comprising of highly enthusiastic versatile rappers Taio Tripper and Shappaman, the wonderful songstress Karungari “Miss Karun”, and the multi-gifted producer, Marcus “K’Cous” Kibukosya, Camp Mulla is one to watch.

With the title track, “Funky Town”, in the offing, you sure can prepare for celebration. “Funky Town” is a highly awaited piece of art with a lucid purpose; that of making you to dance and have a groovy time. Giving a positive message in their version of Papeyo by Zanaziki (a Kenyan 90s group), Camp Mulla does not deviate from celebration mood. The jam encourages peers to work hard in life, not to expect handouts, and never to abandon their dreams.

“Funky Town” contains Feel No Pain, Fresh All Day, Party Don’t Stop (featuring Collo), Sunday Swagg, Where Do You Come From?, End of the Night, Addicted, Take It to the Floor, Low, We Can Go and Move On (featuring Bamboo). With all these hard hitting jams, “Funky Town” is worth listening to.

The Album is available at all Nakumatt and Uchumi stores.
