Apparently he had a hard time making his wife toe the line as he was a hardliner who believed a woman’s place was in the kitchen and thus should be entirely submissive. Kawira on the other hand was from a different school of thought believing that women should be empowered and treated equally as men.
Of course with those kind of different analogies, there was bound to be war but they have fought their battles now are now good.
Kawira never spoke of the revelations then but she has eventually spoken, not on the issue though but a totally different thing.
Hers was an inspiring message to Kenyans in an attempt to encourage them and see themselves as worthy of being in this world.
