IMAX Brings You Special Oscar Screenings

It’s Oscar Season. And IMAX is not being left behind.

To celebrate the recognition of the year’s top motion pictures, the cinema is showing some of the films that are likely to get nominated in a few weeks. Check out their statement below.

“Oscar American Academy published the list of possible candidates for various nominations for “Oscar Awards.” The majority of these films were shown in our cinema IMAX Kenya last year.

We offer you an opportunity to see some of these potential movies that may be nominated for Oscars in the next two weeks. The Hobbit; Desolation of Smaug, Thor; The Dark World, Pacific Rim, Gravity – only 9 shows, The Hunger Games – 8 shows, the Man of Steel – 9 shows, Captain Phillips – only the last 3 shows.

In January at our cinema IMAX Kenya is a special offer – a ticket worth 700 shillings includes a drink and small popcorn. If you have not been able to see these masterpieces of Hollywood and be impressed by the technology of IMAX – hurry. Only two weeks and a limited number of shows, as well as a car raffle draw for all our cinema visitors from Monday to Thursday.”
