In Pictures: Police Chopper Crashes At Wilson Airport

News just trickling in indicates that a chopper attached to the National Police Airwing has crashed at Wilson airport this afternoon!

A police instructor and a trainee have been rushed to hospital after the police chopper they were travelling in crash-landed at Wilson airport this afternoon at around 1pm.

The chopper violently hit the ground sending pieces flying meters away from the crash site. Lucky it didn’t catch fire during the accident.

The cause of the accident is yet to be established though some are already saying pilot error and or mechanical failure could be the reason that caused the helicopter to crash.
