It Was Pure Pomp And Glamour As The Vybe City Awards Dazzlingly Went Down In Eldoret (Photos)
After a grueling three-week voting period that saw Vibe City Awards nominees from Eldoret scale mountains and cross valleys in search of votes,the D-Day came last Saturday as guests,nominees,stars,celebrities and locals gathered at the glitzy 64 Resort and Club.
Guests started streaming into the hotel as early as 6.45pm for what promised to be a rich night of many surprises,entertainment,tears of joy,much celebration and pomp.
Candy Empire conglomeration,who were the event organizers and also founders arrived in style in glossy stretch limousines and powerful 4×4 rides beautifully emblazoned Candy Empire TV.
Outside,guests lined up for a photo opportunity at the red carpet against huge backdrops festooned with the Award creators names and other partners.
At the VIP section,the nominees sat at peace,enjoying a front row view of the entertainment and acts.
Later into the night,the time to actually award the deserving winners of the Vybe City Awards Eldoret Edition came and it was one of the most anticipated part of the night as the winners took to the stage,beaming to collect their Awards and make their speeches.
Some of the most hotly-contested categories included Best Male Artist,Face of Eldoret (Male and Female) Best Dance Group and also Most Influential personality.

Speaking to Ghafla, Majirani, who won in the Best Male Artist category said;
I would like to thank all my die hard fans for taking there time to vote for me and candy n candy empire for giving forgotten artists such a platform I grew up in the streets of eldoret where no one recognized me .I still remember the hard days in 2013 when i sold sweets now we in 2016 am still a seller ( vendor) selling hits songs
An elated Kabaka too,who won as the Face of Eldoret (Male) said;
My loyal fans I say a big thanks to them my campaigners i.e Prince Kennah from Uoe,Magdaline njeri,jossy from egerton,my bro djtito, Angi ,Jackie in china,joan in kisumu ,Tasha of baratone uni,Anabel not forgetting my family as awhole for supporting me the list is endless but Iknow God is going to reward them big time
Al in all with the title I wanna transform the town fashionwise and modelingwise n keep the image clean to its best level

Miss Caren Krys won as the Female Face of Eldoret as did Maggy Seurey who won as the Best Female artist.
Other winners included MC Nick who won as the Most Influntial Person in Eldoret and Club Signature which won as the Best Club.
