Jaguar, Suzanna Owiyo Come To The Rescue Of Princess Jully

Princess Julie once used to be the queen in town when she took the music industry by storm for several years with some sensational hits, majority of them highlighting the need to sustain and adhere to social norms and values.

She is remembered for her sensational song Dunia Mbaya, which greatly told the stories of the HIV scourge and advised people to avoid the deadly disease by all means.

But nobody saw this coming. That after Princess Julie educated the masses on the need to keep safe and avoid HIV/AIDS, she would sink into oblivion and out of the music industry to lead a miserable life.

Many of us had forgotten about Princess Julie until when the Nairobian highlighted her story a few weeks ago.

She lives in a dilapidated situation, despondency being her daily bread as her music career faded away without trace.

It was after this story that singers Jaguar, Suzanna Owiyo and Achieng Abura offered to help the once revered songstress.

Speaking to the Nairobian, Princess Julie revealed that she had been contacted by the three artistes and Jaguar asked her what she wanted to start her life again.

The songstress said she wants to continue with her music career and Jaguar offered to buy her a good sound system which she will use to do her music.

The NACADA leader, however, asked the songstress to make use of the same and get herself out of the situation she currently is.
