Janet Mbugua, Christina Shusho, Gloria Muliro, Kanze Dena Among Other Top Cream Celebrities Converge At Catholic University For A Special Assignment (Photos)

Catholic University was the ultimate destination for A-list celebrities last Saturday.

Young actors, singers, dancers, poets, and spoken word artists drawn from different high schools across the country converged at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa for the National Auditions of Dreamz Come True – August edition – over the weekend.

The immensely popular talent programme attracted thousands of students,accompanied by their parents, who came to showcase their talents in various arts before an experienced panel of judges drawn from different institutions of higher learning as well as TV, radio, and entertainment fields.

The August edition of Dreamz Come True attracted a host of celebrities among them Christina Shusho, Gloria Muliro, Janet Mbugua, Willis Raburu, Kanze Dena, Pitson, Makena (Yvonne Makena), H_Art The Band, Miss Morgan (Tahidi High), Lisa (Mother-In-Law), Charlie (Mother-In-Law), Lavender (InspektaMwala) as well as the Director of Digital Communication in the Office of the President, Dennis Itumbi, among others.

Now in 6th year, the programme has identified and nurtured talents from an early age. One success story of Dreamz Come True is award-winning Gospel singer and TV host, Yvonne Makena, popular for her song, “NajuaHutaniacha”.

During the event, Founder and CEO of Dreamz Come True, Francis Mwangi made the revelation that the programme had secured a slot on KTN and starting September, the show will officially be on air.
