Javelin champion handed over Kes 5.2 million Sport Utility Vehicle

Sometimes in October 2015, javelin champion, Julius Yego, survived a grisly road accident along Kapsoya road in Eldoret.
The Toyota Prado the athlete was driving hit a trailer causing a major accident; Yego survived the ordeal and was admitted at the Eldoret Mediheal Hospital.
His vehicle was terribly smashed in the accident, the entire bonnet was ripped up. How Yego survived the accident only God can tell.

Actuaries sent from the insurance company which Yego’s vehicle had been registered with determined that the Toyota Prado 4X4 was completely written off.
Madison insurance quickly started the process of compensating Yego with another brand new Toyota Prado 4X4.
And two months after the grisly road accident in Eldoret, Madison Insurance gave Yego a new Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV).
Yego was handed the vehicle at a ceremony that was held at the Safaricom Kasarani Stadium last Friday, December 2 2016.
 
Yego bought his original SUV at a cost of 5.2 million shillings; Madison Insurance compensated him with brand new Toyota Prado 4X4 worth the same amount.
