Joho to sue national government for failure to compensate locals displaced by SGR

The national government faces a possible court case for failure to compensate locals displaced by the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR).
Mombasa Governor, Hassan Joho has threatened to sue the national government in order to pressure it, into compensating fishermen displaced by the ongoing construction of the SGR.

Joho further said he wishes the national government will agree with Kenya Ports Authority (KPA), SGR and Ministry of Transport on the mode that will be used in the repayment of the construction loan.
