Kazungu to take his son on a ‘tour of the world’ for excelling in KCPE

Nigel Thoya will travel to California to visit Silicon Valley, then take a flight to Middle East and wrap his tour of the world in Australia before flying back home to Kenya.
Mining CS Dan Kazungu has revealed he will take his son on a tour of Middle East and Australia for scoring 428/500 marks in the 2016, Kenya Certificate of Primary Examination (KCPE).
13 year old, Nigel Thoya, who hails from Jilore ward in Malindi constituency, was a student of Makini School Nairobi.
He will also be taken on a tour of Silicon Valley because he has a big passion for software engineering.
The Cabinet Secretary, who is currently in the United Kingdom for the annual Mines and Money London Investor Conference, hailed his son for the great performance and even claimed he was
“” the cabinet secreary told the Star.
 
Victor Odhiambo from Kakamega County was the country’s best student emerging the top by scoring 439 out of possible 500 marks.
‘Like father like son’ Kilifi county residents have commended the son of the Dan Kazungu, noting he must have gotten his brains from his father, who also did well in the exam, a reflection of his father.
Kilifi residents took time to also challenged Members of County Assembly to invest more in education instead of sponsoring youths to take driving lessons.
Kazungu joins other leaders like Nairobi senator, Mike Sonko who have gone out of their way to shower their kids who also excelled in the 2016 KCPE.
