Akothee Refutes Political Ambitions, Accuses Current Woman Rep of Harassment

Akothee has denied allegations of political involvement, stating that she has no intention of running for the position of Migori County Woman Representative in the 2027 elections.

Akothee made the clarification in response to threats and accusations from supporters of the current Woman Representative. She stated that she has no interest in politics and does not need any ticket to vie, but that she will not be pushed to join politics.

Akothee also revealed that she had reached out to the Woman Representative to inquire about projects related to women that she could support, but did not receive a response. She said that she is only concerned with working for Kenyans who love her and will continue her efforts without pursuing political roles.

Akothee further clarified that having friends in politics across various counties does not imply her intention to seek office in those regions.

Her statement is a clear denial of any political ambitions, and it is likely to put an end to the rumors and speculation that have been circulating.
