Akothee Warns Broke Men Against Marriage Proposals

Popular Kenyan singer Akothee, has warned men against proposing to her after content creator KK Mwenyewe stepped out holding a placard, begging her for a chance to marry her.

Mwenyewe became an internet sensation after making videos about impersonating Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua. His placard read: “Madam boss Akothee, I am willing and ready to be the 8th.”

Akothee has been married and divorced three times, and she has said that she is not interested in getting married again. She has also said that she is not looking for a man to take care of her, as she is financially independent.

In a recent post on social media, Akothee warned men against proposing to her, saying that she is not interested in their money or their love.

“I’m not interested in your money or your love. I’m not looking for a man to take care of me. I’m a strong, independent woman, and I’m happy with my life. If you’re serious about getting married, go find a woman who is looking for the same things as you.”

Akothee’s message is a reminder that women are not objects to be possessed. They are free to choose their own partners and to decide whether or not they want to get married.
