In a statement released by the celebrated Dj, he announced that he had exited the uptown radio station after 12 years of service.
Mfalme’s big breakthrough was in 2010 when he won Pilsner Mfalme Hottest Media DJ.
” To my dear fans, friends and family. I would like to thank the Capital FM Kenya for giving an opportunity to a young man from Meru who had dreams and ambitions of entertaining people though the art of Deejaying.
I have made some of my best memories working for Capital FM Kenya and I will eternally be grateful to them for the growth nd opportunity awarded to me.
It is time for me to expand my horizons.”
During his period at the station, the Dj served as a host of the Hits Not Homework show. The show wrapped up in December 2020.
The show aired every Monday to Thursday evening from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Mfalme’s Next Move?
It is rumoured that the Deejay is set to move to HBR. The station was bought by Radio Africa.
This is probably the right move for Mfalme, considering the many years he has served Capital FM.
All the Best, Joe!
