Dorcas Rigathi Offers Free Medical Camp In Home Village To Celebrate Birthday

In celebration of her birthday, Second Lady of Kenya Pastor Dorcas Rigathi is offering a free medical camp for her fellow villagers in Ndunyu ya Chege, Gatanga Constituency, Murang’a County.

She announced the gesture on her social media on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, stating that it was a way to express her love and compassion for the place and people that hold her dearest memories.

“As I celebrate another year of life, my heart is full of gratitude for the experiences the LORD has granted me. On this special day, I wish to thank God and Kenyans for the opportunity to serve. Again, because God saw it fit for the community of Ndunyu ya Chege, Gatanga Constituency, to be my place of birth and the home where I spent my childhood years. It is my joy to celebrate this birthday by offering a free medical camp, as a gesture of love and compassion for the place and people that hold my dearest memories,” she wrote.

Mrs. Rigathi is an award-winning champion of the boy child. Last month, she was feted during the Africa Public Sector Awards and Conference Awards (APSCA) 2023 held in Nairobi.

Her offer of a free medical camp is a commendable gesture that will benefit many people in her home village. It is a reminder that even those in high positions can still be humble and connected to their roots.
