Controversial gospel artist Chris Embarambamba has urged netizens to refrain from judging or criticizing his music, emphasizing that people often misunderstand him. In a video shared online, the Kisii artist encouraged listeners to approach his music with an open mind and focus on the message rather than making hasty judgments.

Expressing disappointment with those calling for a ban on his singing, Embarambamba argued that his music is not as morally objectionable as people claim. He cited biblical principles, mentioning that negative conversations can spoil good manners.

According to the artist, the real issue lies in people’s understanding of his songs. He urged them to listen to his music from start to finish to fully grasp the intended message. Despite his unconventional music videos involving unique antics, Embarambamba emphasized that he is a gospel artist following God’s instructions to spread the gospel.

He suggested that interested individuals should stream his music from three years ago to gain a better understanding of both him and his music. Notably, Embarambamba recently faced an order to remove his latest song, “Niko Uchi,” from all media platforms due to alleged violations of the Films and Stage Plays Act. The Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) cited concerns about the song’s impact on children and the public, leading to the intervention.
