Hackers make a killing out of Wema Sepetu’s Instagram account

Wema Sepetu’s Instagram page is now benefiting hackers who gained unauthorized access a week ago. The hackers are now using the page to make money from unsuspecting advertisers.

Wema Sepetu was among the most followed celebrities in East Africa. The former beauty queen commanded a following of slightly over 3.3 million followers.

Hackers are now making millions from Wema Sepetu’s page. They are offering people opportunities to advertise on the hacked page at a fee.

And surprisingly people are paying to advertise their products on Wema Sepetu’s hacked IG account. Several products have been placed on the hacked account.
