How To Get Clout Chasing Right

Chasing clout has nowadays become a crucial part in the entertainment industry. A good number of artists have been conglomerated into the circus; with most of them encouraging the same. Clout chaser is a critical term for a person who is thought to be intent on attaining fame, especially one who tries to do so in ways considered desperate, such as leveraging their proximity to famous people or doing things considered foolish, degrading, or dangerous.

In Kenya, we have a few culprits who are infamously known for clout chasing. And it’s just hard to trust them in whatever they do. A good example is comedian Eric Omondi. He has gone as far as lying to impregnate Miss P as a clout chasing method. He has done several surreptitiously orchestrated activities to capture Kenyans’ attention, to a point where we trust him no more.

Prior to this, a lot had been said about clout chasing and whether it was working to the disadvantage of artistes.

How To Chase Clout

The pros of clout chasing are you get to achieve numbers of your project.

But you have to be good at it. Make sure you’re already good enough to capture the attention of people. For example, if you’re good at music, obviously people will be interested in your next move.

You also have to take a break from clout; don’t do it often, like Ringtone & Eric. You have to stay away from scandals and such. It will expedite your project.

Some epitomes of proper clout chasing tactics include Willy Paul & Bahati. Clout requires meticulous & creative thinking.
