‘I Am The Centre Of Entertainment’- Eric Omondi Boasts As He Announces 2 Months Break

Award winning comedian Eric Omondi has announced he will be going MIA for 2 months from the entertainment scene to rejuvenate. The funnyman has been a household name for several months for several reasons. The most recent one being his effort to change the entertainment scene for the better. From knocking Parliament’s doors to beefing with MCSK boss Ezekiel Mutua, Eric’s efforts shed some light for Kenyan artists after his proposal bill for play 75% local was aired in Parliament.

Eric Takes A Break

The jester is now taking a break from entertainment and has made a fuss out of it; boasting about being at the top of the game when it comes to entertainment; adding that other entertainers are sleeping on their jobs. He shared via his Instagram stories;

”The president always takes a well-deserved two months break to revitalize, re-energize and rejuvenate. If you’ve noticed since November 17th of 2020, the President has been on it day & night for almost 2 years. He has currently been on break and will continue to be for the next two months. This break is meant to strategise on the future if East African Entertainment industry.”

He continued by expressing his dissapointment with entertainers;

”It is sad that an entire industry relies on one single man. Since I took the small break, the whole industry has been painfully, awkwardly and extremely quiet… There is literally nothing going on in this industry now….”
