‘I Invited Him But He Didn’t Show Up’- Vera Reveals Brown Mauzo Refused To Attend Daughter’s Birthday

Kenyan socialite and reality TV star Vera Sidika has defended herself after her baby daddy, Kenyan musician Brown Mauzo, failed to show up at their daughter Asia’s second birthday party.

After Sidika posted photos of the grand party on social media, fans accused her of being selfish for leaving Mauzo out of the celebrations. Sidika responded that she was tired of being blamed for refusing to invite Asia’s father.

She revealed that she invited Mauzo to the party, but he declined the invitation, saying it wasn’t a good idea. She added that Mauzo is a grown man and she couldn’t force him to attend against his will.

“I invited him to his daughter’s birthday so we could have a memorable moment for her special day,” Sidika said. “He didn’t want to show up and said it wouldn’t be a good idea to be at her birthday party. How is any of that my fault? Am I supposed to carry him with a crane and force him to attend his daughter’s birthday? Hell no.

Sidika said she is tired of people picturing her as the bad person when she left everything behind to be with her daughter on her special day. She and Mauzo had another fallout last month after Mauzo revealed their son’s face without Sidika’s consent.

“I am still the bigger person to even invite him to Asia’s birthday. Most people wouldn’t,” Sidika said. “All I care about is my babies’ happiness, but you can’t force a person to reason. A birthday is not an ordinary day. It’s a special day to celebrate your child. I would never miss it for the world. I rushed back from America just so I couldn’t miss my daughter’s birthday, but not everyone sees the importance.

Sidika’s response has been met with support from her fans, who have praised her for being a strong and independent mother.
