Kenya Power Announced Planned Power Interruptions In Two Counties

Kenya Power has announced that there will be planned power interruptions in specific areas within Nairobi and Uasin Gishu counties on Monday, October 23, 2023.

The power interruptions are necessary to facilitate network maintenance. The affected areas and outage hours are as follows:

Nairobi

• Dandora: Br. Andrea Hospital, Kinyago Primary School, Karia Shopping Center, Dandora Phase 2, Phase 3, and Phase 4, and adjacent customers
• Njiru: Lexo Petrol Station, Bee Energy, Ola Petrol Station, St. Monica Catholic Church, Warutumo, Rama Hotel, Makama Hardware, Njiru Mosque, Njiru Light Industries, and neighbouring customers

Uasin Gishu

• Kongoni: Kongoni Market, Kosoki, Soysambu, Mawe Tatu, Mapera, and adjacent customers

The scheduled outage hours for all affected areas are from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
