Kenya Power To Hold Scheduled Power Outages In Seven Counties Today

Kenya Power has announced that it will be carrying out scheduled power outages in seven counties on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, as part of routine maintenance. The affected counties are Nairobi, Nakuru, Nyandarua, Kisii, Uasin Gishu, Homa Bay, and Mombasa.

The outages will last between six and nine hours, depending on the location. The following is a breakdown of the affected areas and outage times:

Nairobi

  • Waiyaki Way and Langata: 9am to 5pm

Nakuru

  • Lomolo and Alphega: 8am to 5pm

Nyandarua

  • Gilette and Rironi: 6am to 12pm

Kisii

  • Kiamokama: 9am to 3pm
  • Nyamache: 12pm to 5pm

Homa Bay

  • Pala: 9am to 3pm
  • Sombre: 12pm to 5pm

Uasin Gishu

  • Tarakwa: 6am to 12pm

Mombasa

  • Part of Kinangoni: 6am to 12pm

Kenya Power has apologized for any inconvenience caused by the outages and advised customers to make the necessary arrangements.
