Kenyan socialites Vera Sidika and Shakilla Tiffany have been engaged in a war of words on social media, with both women trading insults and accusations.

The feud began when Shakilla, who is 20 years old, claimed that she is the “Queen of the Streets” and that Vera, who is 33 and a mother of two, should retire.

“Vera is a mother right now, she shouldn’t be comparing herself to people like us,” Shakilla said. “Girl, settle down, breastfeed your kids, we don’t need you in the streets, you are done.”

Vera responded by saying that the “old nyash” (Swahili slang for buttocks) that Shakilla was criticizing actually served as an inspiration for her.

“The old nyash you bashing in public inspires you in my comment section,” Vera said. “Grab a seat and tell us how many babies you left unattended in your village.”

The back-and-forth continued, with Shakilla also accusing Vera of having plastic surgery. Vera responded by saying that Shakilla is already “expired” since she started her career at a young age.

Both women have denied ever being friends, and it is unclear what sparked the initial feud. However, it is clear that the two socialites are not going to back down anytime soon.

The feud has drawn a lot of attention on social media, with many people taking sides. Some people have supported Vera, while others have sided with Shakilla. The feud has also sparked a debate about ageism and body image in Kenya.

It remains to be seen how long the feud will last, but it is clear that Vera Sidika and Shakilla Tiffany are not afraid to speak their minds.
