KPLC: Six counties will experience power outages today
Kenya Power has announced scheduled power interruptions affecting six counties on Thursday, with interruptions expected at various times throughout the day.
In Nairobi:
The interruptions are set to occur from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, affecting areas such as Kasarani PCEA Church, Njeri Apartments, PGM Prestige Court, Legacy Apartments, Eldorado Apartments, Camp David CITAM Church, and neighboring customers. Other affected areas include sections of General Mathenge Road, Peponi Road, Peponi Gardens, Ring Road, Eldama Ravine Road, Parklands Mosque, 2nd and 3rd Parklands, Suswa Road, Ngao Road, Mutati Road, 4th Parklands, Golden Towers, Eldama Court, and neighboring customers.
For Kiambu:
Interruptions are expected from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, impacting areas such as Ndula, Delmonte Camp, Kilimambogo TTC, Magogoni, Kiboko Farm, Kenchic, Makutano, Jawabu Quarry, Helena Quarry, Rubiru, Fourteen Falls, Kenchic, Dimken Farm, Duka Moja, Ngoliba, NYS, Kyeleni, Zambani, Donyo Sabuk, KWS, Valem Quarry, Rubiru, Macvast, Kwa Jimmy, Kabaa, Chui Rapids, Kahonoki, Nginyi Pumps, and Twin River East.
For Uasin Gishu:
Interruptions are expected from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, affecting areas including Mwithiriria, Eldorock Primary, Munyaka Market, Munyaka Stage, and neighboring customers.
For Homa Bay:
Interruptions are expected from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, impacting areas such as Kosele, Nyaligosi, Duga, Kiwiro, Namba Saye, Namba Rael, Karabok Junction, Nyatwere, Waradho, Kachien, and neighboring customers.
For Kirinyaga:
Interruptions are expected from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, affecting areas including Mururi Market, Kianjiru Market, Gacatha Market, part of Kutus Town, Governor’s Office, Kwa Kibera, Achievers School, Mutungara, Abel Nyamu, Chinise Site, Daraja ya Mungu, Kutus, and neighboring customers.
For Nyeri:
Interruptions are expected from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, impacting areas including Gathunguri TBC, Waihara Ciaraini TBC, Thokoni TBC, Kigumo TBC, Karega TBC, Kabebero Market, Kihuri Market, Kihuri Water Works, Githimbai Market, Kiandemi TBC, and Kiriti TBC.
