KPLC: There will be a power outage in these regions today.

The Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has issued a warning regarding scheduled power outages in various regions of the country on Tuesday, March 19th.

In an announcement made on Monday evening, the company indicated that certain areas across seven counties in Kenya will undergo power interruptions starting from three o’clock in the morning until eleven o’clock in the evening.

The affected counties include Nairobi, Kiambu, Uasin Gishu, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Homa Bay, and Kilifi.

Within Nairobi County, localities such as Kenyatta University, Lavington, and Westlands are expected to experience power disruptions during the specified period.

In Kiambu County, segments of Kiukenda and Kiamumbi areas will also be impacted by power outages throughout the day.

Similarly, in Nyeri County, sections of Chaka, Karundas, Mbiriri, and Gitugi Tea Factory are slated for power interruptions.

Residents in Uasin Gishu County, particularly in Leseru and Lower Sosian, should anticipate power outages until nine o’clock in the evening.

Likewise, in Kirinyaga County, regions including Kagumo and Mutira will face power disruptions until ten o’clock in the evening.

Areas such as Gendia and Simbiri in Homa Bay County are scheduled for power outages until nine o’clock in the evening.

Lastly, several parts of the Vipingo area in Kilifi County will experience power interruptions until eleven o’clock in the evening.
