‘Masharti’ by Vivian is finally out and it’s amazing (Video)

Talented singer Vivian Wambui, popularly know as Vivian, has finally released a new song after being quiet for many months and believe you me, it was worth the wait.

The jam dubbed Masharti, which is a Swahili word that means conditions, talks about loving someone without them dictating how you should do it i.e. with no conditions. Does that make any sense? I hope it does.

The Chingi Changa hitmaker really outdid herself on this track. It sounds pleasant to the ears and if you are a big fan of Vivian like myself, I’m sure your hand will be stuck on the replay button.

Vivian has an amazing voice. To add to that, she varies it from time to time. If you ask me, she is without a doubt one of the most powerful female vocalists in Kenya at the moment.

The other thing that I love about this beautiful lass is that she sings from the heart i.e  it’s natural so the listener finds it easy to connect with her. It almost feels like she is addressing you directly.

Masharti is well arranged. This jam just flows. However, the most amazing thing about it is its simplicity. Trust me, I was able to master the whole of it after listening to it only twice.

Ilogos Music came through with an dope beat. As much as I’m a big fan of Vivian, I had a difficult time deciding what I love more between the beat and her singing.

Although the video isn’t that bad, I felt they should have done more because some scenes are so dull. That aside, I am sure you’ll agree with me that the coloration and scene transitioning were on point.

Watch Masharti below and tell us what you think. Enjoy!
