Mwanaisha Chidzuga has expressed gratitude for being given a state job. The media celebrity stated that having the highest government position is an honor.

In addition to other responsibilities, Chidzuga will support Isaac Mwaura in informing the public about government efforts and policies through a variety of media platforms. When he changed the Cabinet Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, and Ambassadors, Ruto appointed her to the role.

Following her appointment to the role on Wednesday, Chidzuga expressed her appreciation and sense of immense honor. The well-known media figure posted on her social media pages, “It is an honor to be entrusted with this duty, and I am humbled by the opportunity to serve my country in this manner.”

President William Ruto received a letter of appreciation from Chidzuga shortly after Head of Public Service Felix Koskei announced her appointment, thanking him “for placing his faith in her.”

“Your unwavering commitment to promoting diversity and inclusivity in leadership is truly commendable. This appointment represents a significant milestone, not only in my career but also in the broader context of gender equality and women’s empowerment,”

As the government’s spokesperson, Ruto has named former senator Isaac Mwaura, who would be assisted by Gabriel Muthuma.
