Police Search for Owner of Gun Left at Nairobi Restaurant

Police in Nairobi are searching for the owner of a gun that was left at a restaurant in the Kilimani area on October 17, 2023.

The gun, a Steyr C9-A2 MF pistol loaded with 16 bullets, was discovered on the cistern in the men’s restroom of CJ’s Restaurant at the Ola Petrol Station along Argwings Kodhek Road.

Police believe that the gun was accidentally left behind by a licensed firearm holder who had visited the restaurant. The restaurant manager contacted the authorities, who arrived at the scene and took custody of the firearm.
