Popular Citizen News anchor forced to resign after allegedly working with Sonko to fix PS Kibicho

A Citizen TV news anchor has been forced to hand his resignation letter after being accused of allegedly working with Nairobi Governor Sonko to fix Interior Principal Secretary Karanja Kibicho.

According to Business Today, Swahili news anchor Salim Swaleh had to leave the station after Kibicho reported the claims to Royal Media Services claiming that he was allegedly used by Governor Sonko to fix the Interior PS by recording him saying negative things about the Nairobi governor.

Had to go

Salim then gave the tape to Sonko who called a Presser immediately and attacked the PS who has been going head-to-head with since being voted in. Neither of the parties involved has addressed the issue directly.
