Miguna Miguna Credits Ruto, Not Odinga, For His Return To Kenya (Video)

Kenyan lawyer and activist Miguna Miguna offered a controversial explanation for his recent return to Kenya. In an interview with Obinna on his YouTube channel, the lawyer claimed he wouldn’t have come back if his political rival, Raila Odinga, had won the election.

Miguna alleged that both Odinga and former President Uhuru Kenyatta played a role in preventing his return.

He stated,

“Even if some unforeseen event made Raila president, I wouldn’t have come back. They blocked me out.”

However, Miguna expressed confidence that Odinga wouldn’t win and said he actively campaigned against him. He credited current President William Ruto for respecting court orders and allowing him back into the country.

Even though Miguna and Raila were allies, Miguna went on to give Ruto all the credit.

Miguna’s return came after years of exile in Canada due to a red alert placed on his passport by the previous administration. He viewed this as a politically motivated act targeting his criticism of the Kenyatta government.

Miguna has spent years in Canada before and after he was reportedly exiled due to political reasons. The lawyer shared more insights on the political divide, explaining how he ended up being detained in an airport for days.
