President Ruto Mourns Death Of Music Producer Byron

President William Ruto has expressed his sadness over the death of renowned music producer Byron Muhando Kivisi, also known as Byron.

In a tweet on Saturday, September 23, 2023, Ruto said he was first introduced to Byron during the recording session of the hit song Sipangwingwi at the Deputy President’s residence in Karen.

“I recall with fondness his calm and collected demeanor, but more importantly, his immense talent that made him an acclaimed music producer. It is disheartening that we have lost Byron at a prime age. We are comforted by the fact that his works of art will live on,” Ruto said.

Byron died on September 6, 2023, at a young age. He was known for producing a number of hit songs, including Sipangwingwi, Usherati, and Pesa Ndogo. He also worked with big rappers like Majja, Trio Mio, Xray, and Ssaru.

His death was a shock to the Gengetone industry, and he was mourned by many celebrities and Kenyans, including the President himself.

Ruto’s message of condolence comes at a time when the Kenyan music industry is still reeling from the loss of Byron. His talent and creativity will be deeply missed.
