Cholera is an acute intestinal infection, caused by ingestion of food or water contaminated with the bacteria, vibrio cholerae. Those struck by the infection suffer copious, painless, watery diarrhoea that can quickly result in severe dehydration and death if treatment is not received quickly. [sic]
Last Thursday June 22nd 2017 there were reports of Cholera outbreak at the prestigious Weston Hotel on Langata Road.
