Radio hosts Gidi Gidi involved in an accident (photos)

Radio Jambo host Gidi Gidi was involved in an accident yesterday after a matatu plying the Rongai route was speeding and ended up hitting his car from behind.

On social media, the presenter shared photos showing the damage of the accident and his Mercedes Benz being towed away. According to Gidigidi, the Rembo Sacco matatu registration number KCB 067A was speeding at a roundabout during the incident.

“My entire afternoon wasted by this Rogue Matatu….Why speed at around about surely?” he said on social media.

There were no injuries reported.

Matatu madness has been a problem Kenyans have fought with for a long time now. Recently, the matatu industry was on the spot after youths driving matatus going on a trip rammed into a police car in town while showing off and fled. They were later arrested and charged.
